Diego Andres C. Cadena is a California licensed defense attorney admitted to the State Bar of California on July 28, 2021. He earned his legal education at the University of La Verne College of Law and has developed a diverse legal background encompassing criminal defense, immigration matters, legal research, and courtroom-related services.
Mr. Andres Cadena began his legal career with Geragos & Geragos, where he worked on criminal defense matters and gained experience assisting in the representation of individuals facing criminal charges. His work in criminal defense provided him with a strong foundation in litigation, case preparation, legal analysis, and advocacy on behalf of clients.
He subsequently worked as a law clerk at Yagoubzadeh Law, further developing his legal research, writing, and case-management skills.
Mr. Andres Cadena also served at the San Bernardino Justice Center as an interpreter, an experience that strengthened his understanding of courtroom proceedings and the importance of effective communication between attorneys, courts, and individuals navigating the legal system.
Later joined the Downtown L.A. Law Group, where he served as a case manager to Ashley Sura and worked on a variety of administrative law matters. His experience included assisting with U Visa applications and requests, as well as preparing and processing documentation relating to O visas and investor-related immigration matters. This work expanded his practice experience beyond criminal defense and gave him exposure to complex immigration issues affecting individuals, families, and prospective investors.
Mr. Andres Cadena is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California and practices as a defense attorney. His professional background combines criminal-defense experience with substantial exposure to immigration matters, allowing him to approach legal problems with a broad understanding of the challenges faced by clients involved with the criminal-justice and immigration systems.
